Wíta Tópa

One of the newest candle scents in the Comfort Collection, Wíta Tópa opens with a crisp burst of ozone, apple, and lemon—fresh and invigorating from the first moment. The heart settles into calming sage and eucalyptus, creating a balanced, herbaceous middle that grounds the composition. As it develops, warm amber and earthy patchouli emerge in the base, adding depth and longevity. Wíta Tópa is the original Dakota name for Minneapolis's Lake of the Isles, translating literally to "Four Islands." It references the area's natural geography prior to the 20th century, when it was a shallow wetland containing four distinct islands. Following an extensive dredging project that reshaped the lake and connected two of those islands to the mainland, only two remain today as protected wildlife sanctuaries.
